Rachel Johnson, PhD
SMHC Post-Doctoral Fellow
We provide post-doctoral training in school mental health that integrates sophisticated and rigorous methodological training with foundational school mental health research and social justice. The purpose of the program is to prepare post-doctoral fellows for a career in educational research.
This full-time, two-year post-doctoral research associate position is based at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Fellows will be a part of a multi-disciplinary team of researchers working to improve student mental health and academic outcomes. They will work on existing funded projects as well as their own independent research under mentored supervision. Training will align with the fellows’ unique interests and goals. Fellows receive flexible research funds each year to support their independent research.
Stay tuned! We will release application instructions for Fall 2025 in early June 2025.
