The Program
The purpose of the School Mental Health Collaborative Post-Doctoral Research and Training Program is to provide postdoctoral training in school mental health that integrates sophisticated and rigorous methodological training with foundational school mental health research and social justice. The program is supported by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education’s Institute for Education Sciences (IES). Training is housed within the SMHC, a research and technical assistance center at the University of Wisconsin (UW)–Madison. SMHC-PRT will train school mental health researchers to be leaders and innovators who will dismantle discriminatory systems and practices while promoting equity and inclusion.
